Overview

Organic wool pellets improve and enhance the health of your soil over time. They slowly break down in your garden beds to release nutrients back into the soil. These pellets are 100% USA grown sheep's wool and a fully organic material.

Gardeners use wool as an effective natural slug deterrent. Once the wool gets wet, it forms a mat-like barrier, protecting vulnerable plants from damage by slugs and snails. The wool fibers irritate the foot of the slug forcing them away from the protected area.

Wool pellets for gardening hold 20% of their weight in water, helping to reduce the amount of times you need to water. Wool pellets expand to increase volume in the soil for optimal root growth, all while reducing the need for additives like Perlite. By absorbing and holding water, the wool also protects your plants from over watering.

    Good stuff

This fertilizer is great. It has worked miracles on some plants that struggled year after year. I put some of this down in spring and. The plant is strong enough to fight the bugs and disease. It’s easy to apply and you only have to do it a couple times a season. Highly recommend.

    Does NOT work for slugs

The slugs looked at this and laughed. I put it all around a very desirable plant (way too much I thought but wanted to give it it's best chance) and it went from slugs eating nibbles out of leaves each night to the whole thing being eaten overnight after adding this. . . Great price for the quantity if you need this for something else but caution if investing in it for slugs

Fast shipping, smell is pungent as expected.
