Microclover lawn seed was developed over years of natural selection that resulted in all the benefits of traditional clovers but in very tiny, dark green leaves that do not form clumps or excessively compete with turf grass.

It has an even growth habit that makes it an ideal lawn alternative or addition to grass lawns.

Overview

Introduce a nitrogen-fixing legume to your lawn with this genetically dwarf clover. This perennial clover remains greener much longer than grasses in both drought and cold conditions. It has good summer color and is particularly resistant to drought because of its deep rooting system.

When mixed with turf grasses in your lawn, Microclover "spoon feeds" nitrogen to the grass by utilizing atmospheric nitrogen and converting it into organic nitrogen forms used by turf grasses. This produces a healthy, dense and naturally green lawn that is easy to maintain.

The vigorous and dense growth of clover and grass together crowds out existing weeds and prevents new weeds from establishing. The unique dense growth allows for low mowing height.

This is 100% certified Microclover lawn seed (patented seed). Microclover lawn seed is coated with a natural inoculant that ensures nitrogen fixation.

Apply 1-2 lbs per 1000 square feet. Flower heads removed with low mowing.

    Beautiful Microclover!!

These coated seeds took quickly and formed a dense groundcover which was more prolific than I expected. I initially used it to fill in spots in my lawn that would not propagate other grasses such as fescue. It looks amazing and I plan to replace as much of my lawn as I can with it.

    Beautiful!

I was not expecting my late September planting of micro clover lawn to turn out so robust within three weeks! The micro clover is adorable, dense and looks green and super healthy. I can't wait to fill in the spaces i missed next spring. I will be ordering more! Thank you. : )

    Fall planting

We planted our clover seed this fall. It germinated quite well.

We incorporated the seed over our current lawn.

Am anxious to see what it will look like this spring
