Overview
The Compost Wizard Jr. comes fully assembled and requires little maintenance. Just turn once a week and after addition of new material, you can see compost in as little as 14 days! Help keep organic waste out of our landfills by composting. The compost bin is made with 100% recycled polyethylene. This PE is BP-a free and FDA approved for contact with edibles. That means there are no chemicals, toxic or otherwise, leeching into your compost.
The ends of this composter feature aeration holes which provide much needed airflow for the compost batch with the option of drilling more for those who live in areas with low air currents.
The base has four little wheels mounted on it which allows the drum to be spun easily. The drum can also be lifted off the base in case you want to roll it to a different location or to off-load compost directly to your garden bed.
The 12" twist-off lid keeps your compost safely closed off, but is easy to remove and doubles as an extra turning point. The handles provide grips to make turning even easier.
The low profile ensures that it stays out of sight and won't be blown over in high winds. The resin material used to mold the bin is 100% recycled and the rich dark color absorbs the sun's heat, keeping your compost at a nice hot temperature.

We are satisfied with the product, other than the bolts holding the wheels should be stainless steel and it needs another set of handles molded into the tumbler. When it is full it’s difficult to rotate.

We’ve only had it about three weeks. No complaints. It is easy to turn when full. Just be certain the lid is completely flush with the opening and tightly screwed on before turning. No rodents can get in.
It is too soon to determine how effectively things will decompose but in this hot weather the tumbler is cooking hot.
