Overview
With an easy turn of a handle sift soil, compost, worm castings, wood pellets, rocks, fruit, vegetables and more with our heavy duty garden sifter. No more back-breaking work, shaking, bending, or rubbing over a screen. This rolling sifter utilizes friction and gravity to make this job quick and easy.
Sifting your soil or compost allows you to break up any large clumps, or remove any large unwanted material from your soil. If you make your own seed starting mix, sifting your soil is especially important for seedlings. You can also use the sifter to help clean off garden produce like potatoes or carrots while hosing them down!
This light-weight, compact sifter has adjustable legs to fit most tubs, wheelbarrows, carts, and sawhorses. The unique design keeps the sifter at a comfortable height, saving you from constantly bending or leaning.

Care & Maintenance:
Load 2-3 shovels worth of material into the sifter basket at a time. Do not overload the sifter.
To keep your garden sifter in good shape, regularly apply lubricant to where the handle attaches to the trommel and to the threads on the lid. Regularly wipe down the PVC with lubricant to prevent it from becoming brittle over time. Store the sifter upright, out of direct sunlight.

I used this to sift dirt and other materials from landscaping gravel and it made the process very easy! Except for the issue below, I sifted 13 5-gallon buckets of gravel and it stood up well. I will continue to use this as the years go on to keep my landscape gravel in great condition.
The handle , apparently made of PVC pipe and collars, started to slip so I zipped in a couple of sheet metal screws through the collar and it fixed the issue. This was the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star review.

I use this to weed my gardens. I throw shovels full of dirt , weeds, stones and turn the crank -- works great, Recommend putting to self tapping screws in the crank coupling to shaft to prevent slippage, Put a wheelbarrow underneath, Soil comes out well sifted and looks great.

I've done a lot of dirt and rock sifting over the past few years, and this handy little creation it's such a tremendous improvement over using screens or pans to sift! I do think it's a little pricey, but it's the only thing I i've seen on the market like it, so I had to give it a try. So I think of it as a little treat for myself, and I love it!

I’ve only used this once so far but it does just what’s supposed to do. I wish the feet were adjustable so it could fit a range of wagons/wheelbarrows, but otherwise I expect to get a lot of use out of this.

Seems well made and works nicely on mature compost. Would like slightly larger processing ability for single person use but works well with 2 people (one to shovel in and one to turn the crank).
