The Aerobin 200 is still a heavy duty, insulated composter but is more suited to a smaller household. It features an internal aeration core to help the compost stay warm and aerated. An added benefit of the Aerobin is the bottom tank designed to collect "compost tea".

Overview

The Aerobin 200 is large enough to accommodate kitchen scraps, and some garden waste. Due to it's insulated double-walled design, the internal temperature stays warmer than the outside air. Running vertically through the composter is an aeration tube which also speeds up the rate of decomposition. At the base of the Aerobin is a small compartment that captures compost tea, which can be drained from the small spigot. Finished compost is accessed by removing one of the two lower doors (one on each side).

Features & Benefits:

  • Insulated side walls and lid for year round operation
  • Contains a 2 gallon tank in the base for collection of ‘compost tea’
  • No turning or agitating of the compost is necessary
  • Rodent-proof
  • Composts kitchen and garden waste quickly
  • Simple, tool-free assembly
  • Heavy-duty construction prevents it from blowing over, or falling apart
  • Dimensions: 20”x20”x46”,
  • 7 cubic feet/55 gallons/208 liters.
  • Features a 3 year warranty

    Good composting bin

We've made one batch of compost in the Aerobins. It was carefully concocted recipes with some horse manure, corn stover, straw, etc. Very good composting. No odor. The compost didn't get over 120f which is a bit cool considering the warm weather. A bit more insulation might make the bins even better.

The photo shows compost after 3 weeks in the bins. And you can write on the bins with chalk = great for keeping track of the process.

I am so happy I chose this product

I watched a few videos and was able to assemble this bin by myself. I like the fact that this bin requires no turning as I am an 81-year-old woman. I also like the enhancement that the bin will also produce a liquid “compost tea” fertilizer and have set my bin on a pad so the liquid can be obtained easily. I’ve only had it for 5 weeks and am looking forward to the future results.

    Easy to use

This was very easy to put together and it feels steady and secure. It is a cinch to put in the compost and I am pleased with my purchase!

    Cool Composter

This bin was fairly easy to assemble (by 65 year old woman). I am shocked that it actually works! Just follow the instructions and amazingly, compost is created. Most shocking was the little bugs that make their way into the material to create compost.

Hi! Only had it a couple weeks. It really hasn't had a chance to work.

It assembled well, it's foot print is compact, but tall enough for a good usable quantity of compost!

I'm changing my choice from 3 to 4

    Good static composter

Assembled quickly and easily and is useful in many ways. I was able to assemble by myself, but assistance would be helpful. For the urban gardener it is clean and inconspicuous next to your trash bins or tool shed. The center tube allows for a fungal dominant compost while maintaining aerobic environment for microbes. All molded plastic is far better over time as the metal parts in some other composters tend to rust. Would highly recommend.
