How It's Made
Old discarded sweaters destined for the landfill are given a second life as colorful and imaginative playthings. Since the materials come from repurposed sweaters, no two puppets will ever be the same. Each one is made from reclaimed wool whose colors and textures are individually selected.
Cate & Levi puppets are handmade in Toronto, Canada. All the materials are sourced as close to home as possible. This process cuts down on shipping and reduces their carbon footprint. The choice of reclaimed wool reduces demand for new materials that require both water and oil for production. The goal is for these items to leave the softest possible pawprint on our planet.

Puppet came and looked very dull and dirty. I didn't touch it for 2 weeks. Then I washed it and it brightened a hair. But I did love it after that. So the three stars is cuz it came so dirty. And the colors are very dull so I am adding some color with embroidery thread. And playing with it to get the tongue to wiggle, and the nose to move in different directions. It is a task but a labor of love for my grandbaby. I would buy another one, of a different model with brighter colors. I like the fact that it was recycled wool.

My daughter and son in law prefer that their one year daughter play with items made from natural fibers. These puppets are adorable and so affordable . . I ordered three of the puppets , one for each of them in their family so all 3 of them could play together at the same time. They are a huge hit!!
