Overview

Whether your goal is to reduce your average water usage or simply to have spare water on hand for times of drought, the Rain Wizard rain barrel is a great choice! Choose between 40, 50 or 65 gallon capacities, and between a wide variety of colors.

The Rain Wizard features a plastic screen mesh designed to keep out bugs, animals, and debris while still being easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance. A front-side overflow keeps water from flooding against your outside wall. The flat-back design is one of the most convenient features of this barrel, as it allows your barrel to sit right up against your home

The 40 gallon Rain Wizard includes assembly instructions, x1 brass spigot, teflon tape, and the barrel itself. It weighs 18lbs and measures 28.25" x 22" x 21.5". The 50 gallon weighs 20lbs, and measures 30" x 23" x 21.5".  The 65 gallon Rain Wizard includes assembly instructions, x2 brass spigot, teflon tape, and the barrel itself. It weighs 22lbs and measures 35" x 26.5" x 25". The 65 gallon rain barrels also feature a one cubic foot self-draining garden planter top!

Features & Benefits:

  • Made from UV-protected, BPA-free 100% recycled plastic
  • Flat-back design allows for a reduced footprint

    40 gal rain barrel.

Happy with barrel. Took one star off the way parts taped to screen took days, razor blades, and goo be gone to get tape off

Barely any flow through the spigots

The spigot included is useless. I bought two of these barrels and the spigots that came with them dribble the water out.

For example, it took 5 minutes (!) to fill a 2- gallon watering can. I timed it on both barrels, each was over half-full so the pressure was fine.

Once I removed the spigots the water flowed out.

So now I have to go to Lowe’s tomorrow and buy new, functional spigots.

    Slow spigot

Not sure why, but the water just kind of trickles out of the spigot, more than a trickle tbh but not much more. Takes about four times as long to fill a watering can than my rain barrel from Lowe’s. I guess after I empty this one I’ll try a different spigot from the hardware store.

    Rain barrels

Spit doesn’t fit. Not good for drinking water. Cheap looking not worth the money I paid.

I would have sent back but would have to pay for shipping again, disappointed in this purchase.

    Good rain barrel

I order this rain barrel but I thought it had two faucets to let the water out but it only had one. I called them to see about sending it back and reordering the one I want but they wanted to charge me to return it. I told the women that I wanted to purchase a different one with two faucets so could they wave the return fee and she said no. It was cheaper to keep it and I gave it to my daughter and order another one from a different company that was cheaper than this company. Their loss, my gain.
