This drinking water safe hose is lightweight but certainly not light-duty. It is made of UV-stabilized polyether-based polyurethane, which offers superior abrasion resistance, ensuring years of reliable use.
*This hose is not recommended for oscillating sprinklers designed for a larger 5/8" diameter hose.
Solid Machined Hose Ends
Commercial grade solid brass fittings are specially plated with nickel and chrome to provide an extremely hard and durable finish. Extra long threads are precisely machined to ensure great connections to nozzles and watering wands. These fittings do not crush, tarnish or leak.

I have two of these hoses that I purchased in the mid 90’s and they are still going strong! We needed one at our vacation property. I had bought them from a catalog, but don’t even remember the name nor do I know the brand name of the hose. I did a search on the Internet for small diameter rubber hose. The first option to come up was this one. I immediately knew that it was the same one that I had purchased years ago so I did not hesitate to put my order in. Once we received it, it was confirmed that it is the same hose and operates very nicely. With this type of hose, you do need to keep them on a hose reel because they do curl a lot. They don’t kink, but they do twist and curl. But since I’ve had so much experience with this type of hose, it didn’t bother me at all and we’re hoping that it will last here in the Arizona heat. We will be putting it away in the summer so they won’t get damaged. I highly recommend!
