Great American Rain Barrel - 60 Gallon

This is second barrel order from Eartheasy. First order was for Grey barrel for relative. Quality was amazing, so we ordered one for ourselves in brown. Haven't setup gutters & rain chains on carport yet, but plan to order 2nd brown barrel for the other side. Shipping was quick & efficient. Website is easy to navigate. Very pleased with order & vendor.

These barrels are of high quality & definitely will last a long time. We purchase (1) Grey for a relative & (1) brown for our use. Plan on ordering an additional brown to complete gutter system on carport. Setup was a breeze. Website was easy to use & shipping was fast & efficient. Highly recommend both barrels & company.

My rain barrel is AWESOME, and the green color is pretty too! We bought an Oatey Mystic downspout diverter from our local hardware, which was easy to install, and the barrel was FULL within two days of limited rain. We made the mistake of putting the spigot on the second-to-lowest hole, so we had trouble getting the water out of the bottom of the barrel. We then moved the spigot and that shouldn't be a problem again. I'd love to have multiple barrels linked so that I could save even more water!

It’s a good looking barrel with a screw on top which is great in a high wind area. It is more sturdy than most of my other rain barrels. These rain barrels are quite necessary for a draught area like I live in.

Mostly good, but difficult to set up and the overflow ports need to be larger and should have come with provided hoses. The capture holes in the lid could also be larger. In a moderate rain water was simply running over the sides.

Just purchased two of these for my first rain barrel setup. The good: they are up-cycled barrels, super sturdy, stable, and hold a lot of water. The not-so-good: installing the included spigots and plugs is difficult. I am 6' tall with long arms, but I could not reach far enough to install the spigot at the bottom port without putting the barrel on its side and crawling inside (while my wife held the spigot steady on the outside). The ports are pre-drilled with threads, but the threads don't mesh well with the included plastic screw-plugs; they are difficult to screw in and they leak when the barrel is full. Plumber's tape didn't fix the issue, so TGARB customer service is sending me some new hardware with rubber washers for a better seal. I wish the spigots had more flow, because these ones take a long time to fill up a bucket or watering can. Finally, I was surprised that the paint scratches off quite easily; I didn't buy these barrels for looks, but was expecting a tougher coating for an outdoor product.

We are very pleased with our purchase of this rain barrel. It replaces another one we had that split down the side seam. This product is very sturdy, well-built and easy to set up.
