Overview
Potting is a breeze when everything is right at hand! Made from solid cedar, this Potting Bench is perfect for repotting, transplanting and filling seed flats and pots. It offers plenty of counter space, a handy wooden sink, and sturdy shelving. Use the bottom shelf to hold bags of potting soil, fertilizer, soil amendments, spare pots and more. Keep plants, seeds and tools on the top shelf, so they are easily within reach when potting.
One of the best features of this potting bench is the removable wooden sink with hinged lid. When the lid is down you can use the entire surface as a table top. Lift up the lid and you have a sink for mixing potting soil and soil amendments.

Assembly:
Basic assembly is required and takes two hours. All hardware is included. Holes are predrilled. It comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions.
This cedar potting bench is sanded smooth and naturally weathers to a light grey color. If you prefer it can easily be stained or painted. Unlike pressure treated lumber, there are no toxic chemical preservatives used in its manufacturing.

I put this together in about two hours. The parts weren’t labeled but it was pretty easy to identify them by a quick measure and grouping them together with green tape labels myself. I did apply Eco Wood Treatment to my potting bench which is slowly turning it into a weathered gray. I’m absolutely in love with it and it adds so much to my LA patio!

Nice to see that most of the holes were pre-drilled, 1 person assembly but a second to help makes it so much easier. Love the scent of the cedar wood!

Pros: assembled in 30-40min. Sturdy. Functional. Quality wood. Sits level.
Cons: one leg support was 1/2” too short. Two sides of the box were 1/2-3/4” too short. I added three screws to support top back panel.
I could not tell if the box design had changed to allow drainage? Instructions did not reflect the change. Leg support length did not affect the overall function. Extra screws in back panel we’re not necessary but add strength. If using a power drill to assemble make sure settings are on low to not overdrive screws.
